THE AMERICAN GI FORUM OF THE UNITED STATES AGAINST HUMAN TRAFFICKING RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, the American GI Forum of the United States was established in 1948 to address Mexican American Veteran and their families Civil Rights issues, and

WHEREAS, the American GI Forum of the United States was Congressionally Charted in 1998, becoming a greater voice in the halls of Congress in behalf of veterans, and

WHEREAS, the American GI Forum is committed to upholding the Constitution of the United States, including those rights related to protecting the individual rights of all citizens, and

 

THE NEED TO INCREASE MEXICAN AMERICAN AND LATINO MUSEUMS IN OUR NATION RESOLUTION

WHEREAS:  the American GI Forum of the United States strongly recognizes the dire need to create Mexican American and Latino Museums throughout our nation, which cover the history and contributions of Mexican Americans and Latinos in our Nation’s History, as well as the military contributions of Mexican Americans in all our nations wars, and

WHEREAS: the American GI forum recognizes that the rich history of the American GI Forum and its founder, Dr. Hector P. Garcia is not adequately covered in history books or museums, and

 

ESQUADRON 201 RESOLUTION

WHEREAS:  The American GI Forum of the United States, a Hispanic Veterans Organization was organized by Dr. Hector P. Garcia on March 26, 1948 to advocate for veterans who’s benefits were being denied, and

WHEREAS:  The American GI Forum has had a cordial relationship with Mexican Veterans who fought with American Forces in the Philippines during WWII

WHEREAS:  Mexico deployed an Air Force Squadron (Esquadron 201) to the Pacific Theatre during WWII, and

WHEREAS, the American GI Forum of the United States was established in 1948 to address Mexican American Veteran and their families Civil Rights issues, and

WHEREAS, the American GI Forum of the United States was Congressionally Charted in 1998, becoming a greater voice in the halls of Congress in behalf of veterans, and
